May Day Basket Drive

The May Day Basket Drive is an annual Sunshine for Seniors fundraiser that celebrates spring while bringing joy and connection to our community.

Inspired by the tradition of May Day, community members purchase handcrafted baskets filled with fresh flowers to be delivered to friends, neighbors, and loved ones throughout the area.

In its first year, the May Day Basket Drive had a powerful impact. With the support of our community, we created and delivered 90 baskets to both community members and seniors in local senior communities.

As we grow this tradition, the May Day Basket Drive is evolving into our annual fundraiser. Proceeds now go toward sponsoring engaging, volunteer-led events in senior living communities—helping us expand our reach and create even more opportunities for connection, celebration, and joy.
